Switching from an article to Envelope's integrated comment browser allows you to read, vote on, and reply to comments posted on Reddit submissions. The current article and its comments can also be displayed split side-by-side or stacked vertically.
It only takes one keystroke or click to go from an article to its comments. Alternatively, multitouch swipes can be configured to switch between the available view types.
On Mac OS X 10.7, click the fullscreen button in the top right of each window to fill your entire display with Reddit.
